A Funny Look at Romance

I think many romance readers can appreciate the ribbing that Rachel receives. We've all had that friend...and it's usually a male. Hmmm....

Valentine’s Day Special

This can’t be a better time to introduce this new blog. After all, it’s the time of roses and chocolates—pure romance (or a suckerfest depending on your view). It’s Valentine’s Day! Let me tell you a bit about this blog. There are reviews, character profiles (Heroes and Heroines) and news of upcoming books and new authors. If you’re anything like me, sometimes I like to cheat and head to the last page. Guilty? Well, we have Ruined Romance for you. There you can take a peek at that book you’re not too sure of. We’ll be happy to spoil the ending for you! We’ll also be sure to post if there are any contests or sales where you can get the best deals for your favorite books. Be sure to look for links to other sites where you can buy eBooks (Ellora’s Cave is a definite favorite of mine!) and purchase traditional books. Everything’s still under construction, so if you don’t see something, give it some time. Look for this week’s review. It will focus on the anthology My Zombie Valentine. Catchy title, isn’t it? I know what you must be thinking…ripped flesh and protruding bones does not a romance make. However, keep an open mind. I plan to. The four stories include Bring Out Your Dead by Katie MacAlister, Gentlemen Prefer Voodoo by Angie Fox, Zombiewood Confidential by Marianne Mancusi and Every Part of You by Lisa Cach. I’ll have the review for you just in time for “candy and hearts” day.
